I have always found that using these Bookshare wiki pages is a frustrating experience for me. My find function does not work well with them. When reading them my computer often just stops and I have to wait a very long time for it to resume reading again. They open slowly. Navigating around them is hard. Tonight it is beyond frustrating. Every time I try to open one of them my computer completely freezes up. I hit the back keys and nothing happens. I can't close the page. I can't close the window. I can't even close my browser. Without the computer talking to me I can't even find the restart button to click. The only thing I can do is manually cut the power and then completely reboot my computer. I would really prefer to avoid this because it is a good way to corrupt a hard drive. Since I can't get the damned wiki to work for me can someone who can use those pages better than I can please check the master list for me and see if anyone , volunteer or outsourcer, is scanning "The Dancers of Arun" by Elizabeth A. Lynn? Secondly, can anyone tell me what the hell my problem is? I am using the latest version of Internet Explorer, Windows XP and JAWS 11.
