MessageI think Andy is getting mixed up with the sources we can use versus the 
mormats we can use to read books.  It is true that we can't take a book in an 
electronic format and submit it to bookshare: only the publishers can do that.

  I can't see the beginning of this thread from your e-mail.  But if what 
you're saying is that you think somewhere in Bookshare's guidelines it states 
that if a book is accessible somewhere else, Bookshare can't have a copy of 
that book.  I don't think that's true at all.  I've also never heard such a 
thing.  Is this what you're saying you read?  If so, where did you read it?  I 
think maybe this needs to be looked into so that misinformation isn't being 
spread.

  From what the guidelines say, the book can't be in any other "book 
accessibility" format at another place like RFB&D, NLS/BARD and so on. Is this 
still true? If it is, I fear that a lot of bookshare books need to go away then.
