It is very easy to add those blank lines in Word by pressing:
Ctrl-H
then type ^m (that's shift-6 and a lowercase m)
then tab
then type ^p^m^p (that's shift-6 lowercase p shift 6 lowercase m shift 6
lowercase p, no spaces)
and press Alt-A to replace all your page breaks with a blank line page break
blank line
