Vacuum is OK for removing airbubbles from a slurry. Like when used to
create a silicone mold for wax (lost wax technique) or plaster mold for
casting metals in.

If you use a vibration table you are more likely to cause a sedimentation of
the mixture compared to the vacuum chamber. The vacuum preserves the
consistency of the mix.
