Interesting. I guess I was under the impression that this was an SSTO
attempt. I guess this might make sense for satellites that can handle the
g forces.

Spin Launch isn't either. According to the article, the centrifuge hits
a top speed of about 2.2 km/s. The rocket equation is non-linear,
making the benefits of shaving the delta-V to orbit by, say, 20% larger
than they might seem at first, but you gotta wonder whether its worth
the major additional constraints, like putting up with 10,000 gees'
worth of centripetal loading.
