After a tutorial from some folks I know out in Palmdale, it appears that
the hot setup for CFRP is CVD diamond coating, which last 10-20 times
longer than carbide (typically, I am told, several hundred uses vs. a dozen
or so before the carbide starts damaging the fiber).
I'm still looking for sources, but I have identified several
manufactures....

McMaster has a lot of diamond coated tooling for use with cutting carbon
fiber. I use their diamond coated end mills for carbon fiber cutting.
They don't come better as a distributor than McMaster.
