This is a cool new approach to trapped tooling that we've been using with
good success. The hi-temperature mandrel material is a water washable
ceramic. Integrated rubber insulation, nozzle and forward closure with
tow-preg lamina in a nonlinear wind. Wind it, cure it and stick a water hose
in the end.done. Hydrostat and fuel it.
Spyder stage 3 and 4 motors. The mandrel is shown at the bottom with Teflon
tape applied prior to winding. State of the art. It can be used for many
composite applications.
