I'm rebuilding the avionics bay on my box stock HPR
I use this rocket to test GPS and IMU's......
Its had about 40 flights and the avionics bay is getting tired....
I'm going to rebuild the avionics bay and was wondering what to use
as arming switches...
On Sunday Out at Far I saw someone loose a really nice rocket because
he believes his recovery arming switch failed....
I'm not real happy with the arming switches I have on this rocket....
What do people like for arming switches?
I was contemplating building some FET switches that turn On when
a jumper is removed, so the mechanical failure mode is on, not off...
Seems like unneeded added complications.....
On my Blue and silver I had no switches the Avionics were turned on by
connecting the battery.

I'm less fond of that approach when pyro charges and pressure changes from
sliding
sections together are involved....
