Professor of Sustainability Management (open rank)

The University of St. Gallen and its School of Management are seeking
candidates for a chaired or associate professorship in the field of
Sustainability Management (open rank).
We are looking for an individual who has demonstrated thought leadership in the
debates about sustainability management. This may include contributions about
firms' role in moving towards sustainable development, cognitive barriers and
facilitators of sustainability, organisational change, relations between firms
and external stakeholders, sustainable consumption, sustainable corporate
strategy, sustainable investment, sustainable entrepreneurship or social
innovation.
This includes an outstanding international research profile in combination with
a passion for scholarly contributions and positive societal impact. A
particular requirement of this position is the ability to collaborate with
faculty and students across the University of St. Gallen to support integration
of sustainability in all schools and beyond. Innovative contributions in
teaching corporate sustainability to students and executives are welcome. It is
expected that the holder of this position will participate in the co-management
of a research institute. Furthermore, the candidate is supposed to strengthen
the existing links between the University of St. Gallen and important
international initiatives in the field.
