Have had this request from Trowbridge library to renovate the train which l
guess is child size ?. is anyone interested in heading up/working on this
project ?.

Subject Trowbridge Library Train Repair
Message Hello
We have a large model train engine in Trowbridge Library, constructed out of
MDF. It has seen 6 years of hard use and needs a mending. Work includes:
• The seat needs a full recover.
• The funnels require fixing, replacing two damaged collars.
• One piston on the front left-hand side requires fixing.
• The mirrors on the second book-truck need replacing.
• The covered carriage requires new mirroring inside.
• The whole train, comprising engine, two trucks and one covered carriage
require smartening up, with topical paint application as required. Paint would
need to match the current colours, and is NOT provided (it dried out about 2
years ago, so we no longer have any spare).
I don't know if this is something we could pass to you as a project, and we are
willing to pay for parts and labour. We're also happy to promote the Men's
Shed once it's repaired. If you want more information, or to give a quote,
