You have my sympathy. Given the circumstances, whatever works is the
choice. You might want to study ITIL so you can help management understand
how to increase quality.

Subject: prod-dev sync

I need to move only the data from the production db to dev on a nightly
basis. The best I can come up with is a perl script that does this

Export
Drop tables
Import tables=

If I drop the user the packages go also.

Any thoughts
Randy
