Sure; you might try washing them again in cold water wash with peroxide as 
an additive.

My sister said the stain on those shorts was now just slightly darker than 
the fabric and that she had to look for it to find it.  She said no one else 
would ever notice the stain now.  So, I guess the optacon can't be trusted 
absolutely here, but it did an adequate job.  Thanks, Carolyn, for your tip.
