The iPhone 3GS is eminently suitable for blind people, I have one  
myself and I'm totally blind. The audio feedback is excellent and I  
can even switch languages relatively easily.

It would be great, though, if Apple made something to replace the  
optacon. Their products are really excellent and very classy.
