I like my JVC I purchased from 2001 Video... @ Southdale and
Wellington. The new ones have firewire connections direct to your
computer from the camcorder. Mine has a 35 gig HD but the new ones
have larger, and will record @ ultra fine for 7 hours before
downloading, and 37 hours @ economy, ( governed only by your power
source) if you want to. There are no recordable media to buy and
store. The photo part is all automatic, but is decent quality. Mine
also has a compact flash card capability. ...Doug
