[muglo] e-mail line-length controls

Once upon a time, in a much earlier browser and with a much friendlier ISP, it
used to be possible to specify that e-mail messages sent or received would keep
to lines of a given number of characters, or alternatively that line breaks
would change dynamically to fit the current size of the browser window. These
days I use mostly Safari and (alas) Rogers/Yahoo, and I can't find any setting
anywhere to control line length. I frequently receive -- and, worse still, send
-- e-mails that compress multiple paragraphs down to three or four lines by
stretching them sideways from here to Hamilton. Is there a solution?
