Apparently not.
I have the program and have used it sparingly. It seems to have some useful utilities, but most are available in other programs such as 'CleanApp' and 'MacScan'. It will scan your files and sort by size if you need to trim the fat and free up drive space. I just buy a bigger drive. An attempt to find objective online reviews is futile, as they appear to be mostly infomercials peddling the value of Mackeeper. I guess it depends on your demands for the program: I like CleanApp for tracking all of the hidden files that accompany an application so that on deletion it will ferret them all out. It also has a de- fragmentation utility that will free up drive space in theory, but I think is redundant on OSX. I run MacScan every Sunday night and it finds a half dozen harmless tracking cookies.

P.S. One utility I like but can't use on MacKeeper is the tracking feature for a stolen computer(my desktop is too heavy and old to steal).

Has anyone any experience using the program Mackeeper?
