Wow, that's great. I guess I had not paid attention to the lime green facial
skin on the Great Egret. You captured it well.

yesterday i spent several hours mid day at elmore park. the light proved
to be quite a challange but it was fun watching the egrets flying out and
collecting nesting material. may try again another day early in the
morning when the light is not as harsh. there were cattle, snowy and
great egrets, bc night-herons, green herons and mississippi kites.
