Eh....yea there will be fewer perching spots, but if the water tower is the
design featured on the link below, there looks to be a nice outer ledge on
the large cylindrical tank. Maybe/Probably/Hopefully similar to a building
ledge. We will have to wait and see once it goes up. If that out ledge is
even half as good of a perch spot compared to the current water tower the
Peregrine Falcons should utilize it. I’m pretty sure the Market Street
parking lot is a very attractive buffet for the falcons. I also suspect the
falcons have been hunting the market street parking lot at night from the
water tower. That parking lot is very well lit!
