Greetings All:
We have already had Dark-eyed Juncos and White-throated Sparrows reported
in the Lubbock area, leading some to speculate about the severity of the
coming winter.
I don't really feel like participating in the speculation but would like to
add some fuel to the fire.
I just had a Townsend's Solitaire atop the largest pecan tree in my
backyard. This is pretty early for the species to be showing up in Lubbock
and a first for my yard!
