First thing out to do yard work Saturday morning, 2-22-20, was our neighborhood
Coopers Hawk in the big cottonwood tree behind our house.
I had wondered why no other birds were around. Later in the morning I heard a
Ladderbacked Woodpecker in that same tree and watched it
pecking away high up.
We continue to see 5-6 Juncos under and on our feeder and in our east side yard
daily as well as the Ruby Crowned Kinglet daily all month.
The only time we saw WC sparrows (3) was when there was snow on the ground.
