As described by Jennifer a few days ago, the Burrowing Owls are near the road
leading to the athletic field parking lot, along Milwauke between Spur 327 and
Marsha Sharp Blvd.
This one was sitting in the shade during the heat of the day about 4pm. I
tried to attract his attention by slamming the car door. He/she opened one eye.
Giant jack rabbits were sitting in the shades of most of the bushes along the
Marsha Sharp side of McAllister Park.
