One male and five females, Sunday 2:30pm.
I took several photos.
Female Belted Kingfisher at 2pm, perched in the open on a branch over a small
pond. Location is a short distance west of Indiana on 114th St. The road is
too narrow to stop, no shoulder and a lot of traffic. I made several passes
back and forth, until I had an opportunity to stop in the street and Clarice
got a quick photo from her side. It turned out good.
