All,
Reporting 1 juvenile Red-Shouldered Hawk at Mackenzie Park on 10/25. I'm
guessing it was also there on 10/17 (sitting in the same tree), but I flushed
it and ultimately missed determining what it was.
I had help from a few people on the ID, most notably Jennifer Miller, who
pointed out that Red-shouldered Hawks have been seen at Clapp. Which begs the
question: How many Red-Shouldered Hawks are currently here?
eBird reports show 2 sighted by Jim Crites @ Clapp on 9/22 and 2 sighted by
Mark Lee @ Clapp on 10/20. With mine being a juvenile at a different location,
does this make a 3rd sighting?
