HI.... I noticed the note about hunting. I have family members who hunt and are extremely safe, however, I would not be in the woods geocaching this weekend in MO or next weekend in IL unless it was an area restricted from hunting. Accidents can happen. If you choose be in the woods in a hunting location...wear a BLAZE orange cap. Most hunters will head out before daybreak to find a good spot. Deer hunting is only legal during daylight hours. If there are any night time geocaches you should be safe except that the rangers might think you are spotlighting deer which is ILLEGAL and you might have to prove otherwise. This is also rabbit season. If you hear beagles barking (they sound like someone is beating them when they are on the trail of a rabbit) don't investigate. Expect to hear gun shots. The rabbits will run in a circle ... right back to the hunter. Really blaze orange would be a good time from October through February ... then there is turkey season in april. <GRIN> geocachette In a message dated 11/14/02 9:08:32 PM Pacific Standard Time, Budlvr40@xxxxxxx writes: > Great tip about hunting season people!
