Last minute reminder for those who may be interested:
 

The St. Louis County Parks Trail Watch Volunteers help the Park Rangers,
serving as extra eyes and ears, by reporting trail conditions, safety
hazards, lost persons or suspicious activity keeping our 80 miles of trails
safe and enjoyable for all.  Volunteers, ages 16 and older, will be trained
in trail etiquette and reporting procedures.  They will not be asked to
intervene in potentially dangerous situations, only report them. 

 

If anyone has an interest in volunteering, there will be a Trail Watch
training program at Affton Community Center, 9801 Mackenzie Rd. on Tuesday
March 13th at 7pm. This will give you an intro to Trail Watch and training
required to complete the program.

 

Or if anyone has an interest in volunteering in the future, join the Trail
Watch Team by emailing khartzke@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or call 314-638-2100 for an
application and to register for a training class.
