[GeoStL] Question about Megellan GPS

I was using my Megellan Sportrak yesterday to gather waypoints and it messed up
somehow.....The sattelite map shows very few sattelites and it will not lock in
on them :(....I turned it off and reset it but it still shows the same
thing....I have pulled the batteries out and will leave them out for a day or
two in hopes that it will reiniatilize but I am not sure if this will work.
Anyone ever experience this before? Dang thing is useless as it is now
