- The logo was a design I asked my friend, Don, to do. He is the person that designed the Bass Pro Shops Logo when he worked in Springfield. He just threw together a design. We don't have to use it nor should we feel obligated. I asked, he produced. I gave him no guidelines and offered no advice. He came up with the design solely on what he thought of geocaching. I could change it a million times and it wouldn't please everyone. So, based upon that, the design was made to keep the color count at a minimum. Embroidery and Silk Screening gets more expensive with more colors. 7 colors are usually the max for patches and embroidery and Silk Screeners like one color only. The design allows us to make it one color. If we want more color, it cost more. I can take the input here, go back to Don and ask him for another design. We can always stick with the current design as well. I want to make T-Shirts. I have many T's right now that are blank. I will pay for the setup charge and sell the shirts with a small profit donated back to SLAGA. I can also make hats, bags, polo shirts, mugs, etc... Kinda like cafe express only we get the profit. Let me know what everyone thinks. I can't, nor would I, go back to Don with 30 petty changes. I will however make suggestions that make sense.
