I have to drive so far to even begin searching that I seldom look at the find difficulty. But I do check out the terrain rating and the distance to be walked. Especially when I am by myself. I roll around in the woods like a rolly-polly. Yesterday my first fall was at Billy the Kid which many of you know is on flat ground. I stumbled Backwards over slippery sticks and logs. Had enough time to think as I was going down "Oh no. Not again." No harm done. Only cracked my head a little bit. Hobby? No. Way past that. Only watch out for those tricky 1 difficulty caches. I found once I hit 1000 suddenly those became more difficult than the 2 or 3s. Im chalking it up to looking for the more difficult and tricky and forgetting to look for the obvious. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:geocaching-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of tnands Sent: Monday, June 08, 2009 9:52 PM To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [GeoStL] Re: Gmalibby hits 1000 caches!
