A new 400 page help file is included with the program, and all ExpertGPS dialogs now have a Help button. Please take a moment to explore the new Help file, and consult if first if you have a question about using the new ExpertGPS functionality. One of the major new features in ExpertGPS 2.0 is the ability to customize the way items are drawn on the map. By defining your own waypoint, route, and track Types, you can give your GPS data a consistent visual style. ExpertGPS includes many pre-defined styles to make it easy to draw trails, highways, railroad tracks, and other common map features. A new sample file, Stow.gpx, shows how the new drawing and Type features in ExpertGPS 2.0 can be used to create a map of your home town. You'll find it in the Sample Files folder. (C:/Program Files/ExpertGPS/Sample Files/Stow.gpx) ExpertGPS can now show an elevation profile of your GPS tracklog. Just like the lists and maps in ExpertGPS, the profile is fully interactive, and as you click on the profile the corresponding location will be shown on the map. Elevation profiles can be printed or turned into an image for use on your Web site or in a presentation. International ExpertGPS users will find dozens of new datums and coordinate formats in ExpertGPS 2.0. In addition, ExpertGPS now uses Unicode for proper display of your native alphabet on the map. ExpertGPS has a new Undo and Redo feature, which lets you cancel or reapply the result of the last command.
