Yes, this list still works and yes, the news about Bernie is truly sad. As
I was composing the SLAGA email yesterday, so many stories came to mind.
Bernie was a true character and one of a kind. I've missed seeing him at
the events recently, but knew he and Judy had been camping more. I'd heard
a few weeks ago that he wasn't doing well, but hadn't heard
anything definite until Judy posted on Friday that he was in hospice.
Bernie was my friend and I will miss him a lot.

I can think of so many funny Happykraut stories from the old days. Lots of
MOGA tales, camping stories, and of course the time he tried to bring a
load of firewood across the Canadian-US border.
