- West Tyson County Park has a lot of caches in a (relatively) small area. However, some parts of the terrain are pretty rugged and the total round-trip hike is something over 6 miles. You can minimize both terrain issues and hiking distance by doing the upper and lower parts of the park separately. Park at the Chubb trailhead (just off highway 44 at the Lewis Road exit) for the upper part. Park at the bottom of the hill (off Allen Road? - somebody correct me if I have this wrong) for the lower part of the park. If you only have a little bit of time, I think you'll get much more bang for your time doing the lower part, which has 7 or so caches in a small relatively flat area. This Saturday, we plan on attending the Winter Potluck. However, we plan on doing some caching before we get there. Since we are trying to reach our goal of 1,000 cache before our own predetermined date, we were hoping to find some areas in St. Louis that have a pretty heavy cache density. We'd like to be able to find 30-40 caches outside of the event and the ones placed for it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! -Michael **************************************** For List Info or To make _ANY_ changes to your account, including unsubscribing from this list, click -----> //www.freelists.org/list/geocaching Missouri Caches Scheduled to be Archived http://tinyurl.com/87cqw Missouri Geocaching land policies --> http://tinyurl.com/lgyy84 Missouri Geocachers Forums -->http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/index.php **************************************** For List Info or To make _ANY_ changes to your account, including unsubscribing from this list, click -----> //www.freelists.org/list/geocaching Missouri Caches Scheduled to be Archived http://tinyurl.com/87cqw Missouri Geocaching land policies --> http://tinyurl.com/lgyy84 Missouri Geocachers Forums -->http://mogeo.ipbhost.com/index.php
