Have you ever wished you could control when your Apex hibernates? With
this registry hack, you can.
Using a registry editor for CE on your PC, such as CE Registry Editor by
MD Soft, navigate to the following key.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\Timeouts.
Then, in the list of values for that key, find the value called
"BattSystemIdle". This value is measured in seconds, not minutes, so to
change it to the time you prefer, you can use a formula like 60*m, where
m is the minutes you want. For example, if you wanted it to hibernate
after 45 minutes, calculate 60*45, which gives you 2700 seconds. Edit
the BattSystemIdle value and enter the result you got for that formula.
Then, reboot your Apex for the setting to take affect. Also, if you want
to completely disable hibernation, you can set BattSystemIdle to 0.
Hope this helps.
