the reason is because of the way fm works. It doesn't pi8ckup the
processor noi8se that comes from all computer processors.

It would definitely require a hardware revision.  Also, I heard
somewhere that electronics interfere with AM signals, so putting
an AM receiver inside a computer is probably not going to yield
very good results.
