I had the same issue, and Linda is right. What fixes it is going to the
applications menu, going to youbue, going to the context menu, show info for
youtube, and uninstall updates. This will result in the touch’s youtube app
working as expected. You should open the play store and disable automatic
updates as well so you don’t have to worry about this issue again, and you can
install updates manually.

Hi Ella,
Awhile ago on this list, it was suggested that Youtube should not be allowed
to update. Whether that's still true since the latest upgrade I don't know.
Blessings,

Subject: [BNU] Weird Problem with YouTube on Touch
Hi all, I have the new version of YouTube on my touch with 3.0.
When I click on a video, I get the alert "unfortunately, YouTube
has stopped working." What is going on?
