Okay, so you have local access as in you can see shared folders on the network, 
but you can't access the internet. Well, that is strange, and that plus your 
second card makes me reconsider my first thought of a bad card. Is there any 
way your router might be blocking the bn's IP address? It really sounds like 
some sort of modem or router problem or setting...
