Hi guys,
Time to raise competition. The sense devices, have always said what we're used
to, in UEB. E.G. wh, gh, etc. If I do a bracket, I'd hear dot 5, gh. So HW
could change it, this is by their choice. I'm sorry, but let's not defend them,
where they can do against it. I agree, though, they won't change it. They would
have by now.

The Touch is always doing on-the-fly translation, so there's no possible way
it can know when you type dots 1-5-6 whether you are planning to enter "wh"
or "which" until you enter the next character. This is why it announces the
dots when it doesn't know what you are typing.

Hi Matthew, I believe this is a key soft issue. The announcement of the dots
for non-alphabetic characters is common even to the apex and previous models
of the Braille Note. As far as I know, this is not something humanware plans
to change anytime soon, if at all. I have simply learn to get used to it.

Hi all,
Today, I have not only recieved my bn tutch, but I am composing this
message on it as I write this message. I must say I am loving it so
far) I am using elequence on it and it sounds great. I do have one
sejuestion for hd and it might be something simple but i would like to
see speech translate contractions spoken better, for example, when
writing the wh sign you here the dots rather than the contraction
itself. Can this be changeed in the settings or is this something hw
will have to fix.Â
Thanks.
