I completely agree. I think everyone on the list should send HumanWare an email specifically concerning this issue. In my opinion, this is one of the most annoying and time-consuming bugs that the apex has. While their at it, HW should really think about updating the browser to have better javascript support, flash support, and HTML 5 support.

Subject: [BNU] Dialogs

Hello all,

I think Humanware should do something about security alert and
information dialogs. Those boxes are not only annoying, but they
also slow down the site and slow you down on what you're doing.
Believe it or not, but there have been times when those boxes
have frozen my Apex and I've had to reset the unit.

One of the sites I use the most where these boxes pop up is my
school web site. I have to go through so many security alert
dialogs and they take forever!!!! They take forever even if I
press space with e to exit each one!! It's very irritating.
Every time I reset the unit, I have to go through the whole
process again every time I enter the site!!! I have my school
site saved as a favorite, so if I don't press reset, I only have
to go through two security information dialogs and I'm there. I
can deal with that. However, if I press reset, I have to go
through a million security alert dialogs!!! I press space with e
to exit each one, but they still take forever! I WILL NOT go one
by one by pressing space until I get to the "yes" button. That
would just take way too long and it'll get very tedious.

I think Humanware, if they can at least, should do something
about this. It would be VERY nice if we didn't have to go
through these boxes anymore.

Carlos
