Ok, let me get this straight,
The micro usb is the one you want. The one that comes with the
vrs is not, and I repeat, not the right one. You need a micro,
not mini. They are used in charging ps3 controlers and other
early devices.

Subject: [BNU] Re: Connecting my Apex32 as a Braille display to
my computer with a Vr Stream USB long cable?
Hi, I don't know what sort of cable comes with the stream however
it it is a
mini USB port at one end and a normal USB port at the other end
then it
should work. I'm not sure if I am currently using the cable that
came with
my Apex however it works and it also fits my Plextalk pocket and
another
machine I have. It makes life easier when these cables work for
more then
one device because it means you don't have to have so many lying
around.
The best thing to do is plug it in and see what happens. Your
computer
should make a noise straight away to let you know a USB device
has been
inserted.

listers
Because my BrailleNote Apex was not new, but, I wasn't sent the
cable
needed to connect the Apex to my PC to use either as a Braille
display,
or to transfer files from the Apex to the PC etc. I've got a
cable that
came with my Vr Stream, which makes me wonder, if this cable, or
any
other Android USB cable would work to connect my Apex to my
computer?
