The release notes from the update say that memory management is better
So that there should be less crashing of apps.
But you did see the Google app crash after the update.
I haven't been an Android user before this, but I do wonder if apps might be
a bit more fragile in the Android environment.
I've seen apps crash on the Touch prior to this update, including the
Braille Manager.
The good news is that most of the time, you can choose Wait and the ap will
operate normally in a few seconds.
I updated my Touch this morning shortly before I had to leave, but haven't
had time to experiment since I got back.
I do hope I have better luck with Terminal mode than John Gallagher reported
earlier.
We'll see.

Hi All,
When I started the Touch before updating, it said "Unfortunately,
Braille Manager has stopped." I shut it down and restarted it. I
just updated, and I shut it down again because it said
"Unfortunately, Google App has stopped." What's up with all the
stops? I haven't used it all that much, but I will because I'm
getting ready to send this Apex in for Braille display repair.
I'm not going to be a very happy camper if I can't use the Touch
while the Apex is gone.
