Hi all, Sorry for the cross posting but I need an answer this weekend so am
trying all that I can.
I am trying to connect my Braille note Apex to my windows 10 machine running
jaws 17 latest version. I have downloaded and installed the drivers from
Humanware, selected the braille display as the braille note using the USB
port. I can't get the display to work and I have been receiving messages
that there is an error with the braille driver.
I also have a braille sense mini but can't get it working either. I would
prefer to use the Braille note because it has a bigger display but at this
point either one will do. I need to use it with perky duck starting on
Monday.
I have tried everything I can think of so hope someone here has another idea
that will work.
I have tried:
* Turning the display on before loading jaws.
* Turning on Jaws first then turning on the display
* Uninstalling Jaws and reinstalling it.
* Resetting the display while connected.
* Resetting the computer while connected to the display.
I do have a braille pen 12 here which I haven't tried because I haven't
learnt to use it yet but if that is the way I have to go then I will give it
a try.
Hoping someone can help.
