I suspect that most of the battery drain comes from apps making calls to the
Internet and notifications. I notice that my battery lasts much longer when I'm
not connected to wi-fi. Do the following to increase your battery life:
1. Make sure your screen is turned off if you don't need it. You can press
space with Next to toggle the display on and off.
2. Turn off app auto-updates in the Play store and also turn off notifications
if you don't need them.
3. Turn off wi-fi, Bluetooth or any other services you don't need while you're
not using them.

Hi,
Yes I tend to have this problem. I have to try to remember to place it on the
charger every so often to keep it from dieing without worning.

Hi all,
My battery on the Touch drains so quickly, even when I'm not using the Touch
at all. I always lock the screen when I'm done using it. What else can I do
to save battery life beyond that?
Thanks!
