Hi, keep trying! Eventually, it shows up. Since IOS10, though, it's as if the
phone had hidden SSID. When I asked the UK tech support, their's connected to
the iPhone 4s, so left it that it's my apex, glad to hear it's not.

Linda,
When I was at the ACB convention this summer, I tried setting up a hotspot
on my iPhone 6S, but my Apex didn't see it. Don't know why.
My wife tried it too, and I couldn't see hers either, but in scanning for
networks, someone else's phone was visible.
So I'm not sure what the deal was. I'll have to see if it's visible on the
touch, but I'd expect it to be.

Thanks, Rick. If a person has an iPhone they will no doubt be
carrying it with them as well as their notetaker. And there is a
hotspot on the iPhone that can help you make a real connection.
Today I was in a place where there was a guest wifi, and I
couldn't connect with it even though everything should have
worked.

Hi Linda,
You know, it's really hard to say.
I think KeyWeb on the Touch, which uses a mobile version of
Firefox, is
easier to use than Safari on the iPhone.
However, in the iPhone's favor, there are many nmore apps for the
iPhone
than Android, and accessibility is more highly developed on the
iPhone.
The Touch is a nice unit. But I'll still use my 2010 Apex with
my iPhone.
One of the big advantages of the Touch is that everything is in
one unit.
But you can do a lot with the Apex/iPhone combination, depending
on your
iPhone skills.

I am just curious as to the advantages of a Braille Note Touch
over an Apex
with an iPhone.
