Hi, Amber. I know many people have strong feelings about this. Some will
swear by something and say something else is way worse! <smile> we use
Norton and have always had good luck with it, and we've used it for about
five years now. Take care.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] totally OT but I'm desperate here

Hi all:
I am desperate for help here, and really could use some computer advice. I
bought a Dell laptopabout 11 months ago. It was running great for the first
eight months or so. The first time it crashed in October, it was a virus.
I used Maccaphe at the time. The next time it crashed, it was over
Christmas break, and I suspect it was a maccaphe issue as well. I got it
fixed but as soon as I started putting programs, etc, on it again, it
crashed a third time. This time I was looking at different anti-virus
programs. I don't want to use Maccaphe again, as I am not happy with the
service. I sent the computer back to Dell but got it back again today
saying there are no hardware issues, and that it's all my software. I'm
running Windows XP homewith service pack 2, with Jaws 7.0. Any advice on
strong anti-virus software that's accessible with Jaws?
Amber, extremely frustrated
