Hi, Bud. You know, I've learned a lot from this list, too, and I think
that's one of the many great things about it. We can't possibly experience
everything there is out there ourselves, so it's nice to learn from what
other people have experienced so when something like that does happen to us,
we can draw on what others have said worked for them. I know I've raised my
standards for my submissions just by reading what other people do, and not
only that, but reading books from the site and thinking if I submitted that
book, what could I have done to make it better? No, I don't analyze every
book from Bookshare that I download that way, but when I do download a book
that has consistent errors or things missing, I do think about that, so I
think experience is the best teacher, but it's nice to have this list so we
can learn from each others' experiences. Take care.

Thanks Julie,

I appreciate all your comments and I hope it will inspire others as
well as myself to try to submit more usable material. It's too badd
there isn't a list of directions and suggestions for beginners who
are starting to submit books. I just sort of learned by belonging to
this list and just using my common sense.
I'll keep trying to improve the submissions so the validator won't
have so much work.
