Thanks, Ann. The distinction is clear to me. I would say, based on the movie, that Wolfen is urban fantasy, and perhaps horror, but the movie wasn't so "horror"ible. I love it. After reading the description of Third Lynx in Amazon, I apparently was misled by the picture on the cover of the book to think of urban fantasy rather than scifi.
