Okay, I get your point! The button does show up in Window Eyes; FORTUNATELY!

Hi all,

No, what is meant here is that the browse button does, not, show, up, I repeat does, not, show, up!! If that isn't clear, I'll restate the case. That browse button may be visible when using WE, not sure, but is not visible to people using System Access. The only screen reader which is able to detect the button is Jaws. I do not know web code well enough to tell you why this is, but it is. The control needs to be changed, and it needs to be tested by beta testers who use *all* screen readers, including those for Linux! I mentioned this when I was quizzed by the web people earlier in 2007. You cannot just assume that since a control works while using Jaws, it will do so for other screen readers. I personally always switch to Jaws when dealing with Bookshare, especially the volunteer page because it works best while using that screen reader. Others do not have this luxury.
