I'm sorry--I don't remember for which Melissa I agreed to proof Copy editing
and proofreading for Dummies, but I'm gong to have to give up on it. I can't
get beyond the first pages. One of the problems may be that I keep getting
different copies or editions from the different libraries (only 2 libraries
have it and then, though it's hard to believe, someone else puts a hold on it
and I have to return it and don't get it back forever (the situation at both
library systems). I Although I found out I don't have to do make any formatting
changes to the table of contents (and there are several identical pages, I now
can't get the pagination right. I started by making some of the first pages
"unnumbered," then strted to put in numbers, then came to another page that was
numbered X and went backward, but..nothing works, If I can skip to page 1, I'll
give it a go. I'll send a copy of this to Carrie and sewhat she says. Maybe Ms
Gilad or the publisher(Wiley
Publishing, Inc. will send an e copy to bookshare (Carrie could you ask Robin?
Thanks

Cindy
