Tracy, Press Ctrl-A to mark the entire document. Pulldown the Tools menu. Open the Language submenu. Select Set Language. Hit Tab once to move to the checkbox titled Do Not Check Spelling or Grammar and make sure it's unchecked. Normally the box is blank and I have to press space once to check it then again to uncheck it. Now hit OK. That should do it. I've only seen that not fix the problem one time, and that file had been edited in Word Perfect prior to being submitted, so that could have had something to do with Word not being able to change the text back from Do Not Check Spelling.
