I just uploaded my final book until after guide dog school. It is a mystery
called "Twenty Questions" by Alison Clement. Yes, only one letter "l" in her
first name. Here's my long summary:
"June is the cafeteria worker in a small poor school in a small rural town
of western Oregon. She has been happily married to Bill for 10 years and
feels they have the "perfect marriage." One day she finds Vernay Hanks, who
looks like her, was murdered the day before by Ronald Pruett. Pruett had
first stopped to help June with her broken down car, but June refused the
ride. When she hears that Vernay has been picked up and killed by Pruett
shortly afterwards, June feels vaguely responsible. Vernay's daughter Cindy
goes to June's school and is often a kitchen helper. As June talks about all
this with her husband Bill, he claims she is becoming obsessed. She agrees,
but continues to work her way into the lives of Cindy, her uncle Harlan, and
Harlan's girlfriend, Mona. The mystery becomes increasingly complicated as
June learns more about herself, her ability lie, and her "perfect" marriage
to Bill. Just as the reader is starting to possibly get a glimpse of the
solution, the book suddenly ends. It is not a scanning error. The reader is
left to play "Twenty Questions" to try to solve the puzzle. This is
Clement's second book and nominated for a statewide prize."

I've fixed scannos and formatting issues in KES then in word RTF. This book
is ready for an easy validation. The short summary notes that there are
occasional swear words. (That sure cut into the 250 character limit!)
