In versions after version 8, the editor is accessible from the rank spelling list. So you find a word and press control-e and it takes you there so you can correct it. It is more fun to use rank spelling now than ever. I have not really investigated all that is new about ten yet.

I do wish for some kind of feature where spelling could be instructed for unknown word fragments and put them together to find out if they make a recognizable word. This would be useful for the situations where there are a lot of extraneous spaces in words.

Examples are
pro blem problem
mar riage marriage

Hi, E. You did the exact same thing I did. I jumped from version 6 to
version 8, too, but I'm still using 8 and didn't get 9, so I'll definitely
have to get 10. Take care.

I got it as an upgrade to version 8. I had paid $95 to upgrade to 8 from I think it was version 6 or so. I know I jumped over a gap of a version of so there.
